George and Helen Vari Foundation Education Bursary Program Plaque Unveiling

On Thursday, November 26, 2020 General Jonathan Vance, Chief of the Defence Staff, Major-General Guy Chapdelaine, Commodore (Ret’d) Sean N. Cantelon, and members of the Support Our Troops team were joined via MS Teams by Madam Helen Vari of the George and Helen Vari Foundation. 
 
This gathering in HQ was in recognition of the George and Helen Vari Foundation endowment to Support Our Troops to benefit The Toronto Scottish Regiment (Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother’s Own) and members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This endowment funds education bursaries and eases the financial burden for CAF members pursuing their academic goals. We thank the George and Helen Vari Foundation for their generous gift to Support Our Troops and for the commitment to ensuring students of all abilities and backgrounds have opportunities to succeed.
